In 1940 Sri
Kesavan Vaidyar, an ayurvedic physician in progress developed an ayurvedic soap
called Chandrika, from a little town called Irinjalakuda in Kerala, India.When
Chandrika Ayurvedic Soap was first made by him, Ayurveda was not very well
known and used in non-medicinal products. So in the beginning Sri Kesavan
Vaidyar traveled on foot or by bus carrying the wooden holder all by himself.
There were very harsh times when he even traveled by holding the ladder on the back of the bus and slept
outside shops waiting for them to open, so that he could sell his product to
them. Confidence,Faith and belief in his creation,Chandrika Soap gave him the
courage and strength to continue with it. His belief and determination rewarded
when people who used it realized its value and goodness and came back asking
for more. Once people discovered Chandrika, there was no turning back for him,
and today Chandrika is the most popular Ayurvedic Soap sold worldwide.
